A simple gadget geocache that I mostly designed for use near a local golf course, The pin for the lid is held in place by two magnets meaning it cannot be simple tipped or shaken open. The golf ball is designed by hidden nearby. The cache is only found once the log, inside the box, is signed
Printed in PETG for greater outside survivabiliy with a 0.3 mm layer height
No supports are required for this print, print with large flat faces pointing down
Other Items you will need
- 95mm length of 3mm steel rod
- 35mm length 0f 4mm steel rod ( I just cut off a nail to about the right size
- 3 x 12 mm round x 2.5 mm thick rare earth magnets (two for the lid, 1 for the golf ball)
- 1 x 20 mm round x 3 mm thick rare earth magnets for the golf ball
- 3D pen or simply glue for installing magnets
