💡 Wall Mount for Build Plates (Bambu Lab A1 mini)

A space-saving solution for up to 5 plates.

Since desk space is often limited and most PEI plate holders take up a lot of footprint, I developed this wall mount. It holds up to 5 Bambu Lab A1 mini build plates securely and keeps them within reach on your wall.

🛠 Installation & Use

• Hardware: You will need 2x screws with a diameter of approx. 3.5 mm.

• Mounting: Position the holder on the desired wall and screw it into place. Thanks to the compact design, multiple holders can be mounted side by side.

• Usage: Simply slide the plates into the slots from the front.

• 🧵 Material:        PETG (recommended for better flexibility and mechanical durability).

• 📐 Orientation: Vertical (Upright).

• ⬢  Nozzle:            0.4 mm.

• 🧱 Infill:                 20% - 30%.

• 📦 Wall Loops:  At least 5 (crucial for the stability of the support arms).

• 🏗 Support:        No (the design is optimized to be printed entirely without support structures).

🔍 Design Details

• Optimized Geometry: The slots are sized so that the plates slide in easily but remain stable and do not scratch each other.

• Focus on Stability: By increasing the wall loops (perimeters) to 5, the structural integrity of the mount is massively improved to permanently support the weight of 5 steel plates.

• Minimalist Look: A sleek design that blends inconspicuously into any maker space.

Da der Platz auf dem Schreibtisch oft begrenzt ist und die meisten Halterungen für PEI-Platten viel Stellfläche beanspruchen, habe ich diese Wandhalterung entwickelt. Sie bietet Platz für bis zu 5 Druckplatten des Bambu Lab A1 mini und hält sie sicher und griffbereit an der Wand.

• Platzsparend: Vertikale Wandmontage statt sperriger Tischhalterungen – ideal für kleine Werkstätten.

• Kapazität: Speziell konstruiert für die gleichzeitige Aufnahme von bis zu 5 Federstahlplatten.

🛠 Installation & Zubehör

1. Zubehör: Du benötigst 2x Schrauben mit einem Durchmesser von ca. 3,5 mm.

2. Montage: Halterung an der gewünschten Wand positionieren und verschrauben. Dank des kompakten Designs können auch mehrere Halter nebeneinander montiert werden.

3. Verwendung: Die Platten werden einfach von vorne in die Schlitze gesteckt.

• Optimierte Geometrie: Die Schlitze sind so bemessen, dass die Platten leicht gleiten, aber dennoch stabil stehen und sich nicht gegenseitig verkratzen.

• Stabilitäts-Fokus: Durch die Erhöhung der Wandlinien (Perimeter) auf 5 wird die strukturelle Integrität der Aufhängung massiv verbessert, um das Gewicht von 5 Stahlplatten dauerhaft zu tragen.
