I added some parts, so the food-dryer can be converted to filament dryer. This process should be reversible.

Edit 08-Sep-2024: Added a TPU-Plug with which you may close SOME" holes in the lid, for better temperature efficiency. BUT beware of closing all because of overheating!!
Recently bought a food dryer for extending this as filament dryer. Not parts of the dryer were destroyed, thus this setup is reversible. BUT MIND THERE COULD BE CHEMICALS FROM FILAMENT, SETTING INTO THE AIR SYSTEM OF YOUR DRYER! I WOULD RECOMMEND NOT TO REVERSE THE FILAMENT DRYER TO FOOD DRYER.
Advantage of these kind of off-line dryers is that you do not block your X1C for drying reasons, you can set this design up individually, depending how many rolls you like to dry.
Designed parts in TinkerCad:
- Four part lower ring, just put it loosely on one of the rings.
- 1x 88mm ring
- 1x 138 ring
- Lid
You should be able to use either one of the rings or both rings. The lid should fit either one. As I printed the parts without some rings that I added later to the design, I add those rings to the file section, but I think you should come along without them. I just glued them in the 88/138mm ring.
Don't go too high with yout temperatures. I used PETG for the parts and operate the dryer with 50-55C. A hole for temp and humidity sensor will be drilled when I got some experience.

DON'T LET THE DRYING PROCESS WITHOUT SURVEY! Those dryers are not concepted for drying filament!
