This is a high-resolution roller for putting a realistic leather/animal hide texture on clay. When printed, it's 14cm tall and produces life-scale leather texture, so it can be scaled down for smaller-scale leather.
After printing, this roller can be used to create a knit pattern on a soft material (like clay). I printed with PLA defaults (2 perimeters, 15% infill), a 0.4mm nozzle, and 0.15mm layers.
Low-poly, simple model of a groundhog (Marmota monax). I printed in white PLA and spray painted gold in the picture. This tutorial taught me how to make it.
I've found that the fiberglass reflector poles from the big box store become brittle and covered in splinters within a season or two. I didn't see just the tops for sale so I designed and printed these to hold these stickers .
