I made these to test whether Z-Hop has any effect on knocking down fragile parts. However I soon realised that these very simple parts are hilariously hard to print. So, give them a go, and post a make if you succeed (or fail!) and maybe,…
If you have no idea what Hueforge is look here You need something like black, then brown, then yellow, then white for this. I used a sort of dark red as the 2nd colour, worked ok. I used bambu studio and an X1C/AMS but you can use…
You need to print this cube:- at 0.2mm layer height on a 0.4mm nozzle (or smaller) with 0.4-0.46 line width out of a non-silk material (silk expands when it comes out of the nozzle!) The screw and rod parts snap off to test in the screw…
This is the cube I made to calibrate printers. Most of the parts are fairly self explanatory. The very top surface is supposed to bridge so make sure bridging is ON in the slicer. You may use this in your content (videos etc) if you…
Print as usual, no brim required, any settings you like. Suggest a nice smooth PLA. Definitely don't use TPU.
To colour it, you can use the fill tool , this uses a technique I call sub-layer painting. You'll get the idea, but there's probably a video about it coming :) Normal settings, 0.2 layers fine, just use PLA.
It's very basic but if anyone wants it you're more than welcome. Just duplicate, flip over and you have the test as per my videos.
This is a compliance test. You can comply by printing the compliance test. designed for 0.2mm layer height, whatever material you feel like. Feedback appreciated :)
This is a series of boxes in different sizes that print in one piece with multi material printers that are capable of supporting TPU. IMPORTANT: In order to successfully print this box you need to enable “Material interlocking” in your…
These are the test parts for 3.5mm (M3.5) screws used in the video below.
I have a bad elbow from putting those annoying legs on LACK tables, if you have an enclosure to build you will know my pain. Those things are an ergonomic nightmare. This thing is basically a wrench to put over the leg to solve that.…
I was making a multimaterial top - that prints in one piece and can use interlocking, to just throw out a fully working spinning top that won't break apart as easily (in theory!) or need assembly. By constructing it this way it removes…
Do bear in mind that how strong they are is a result of your own slicing, I found they work OK for a portable air con at I think about 25% infill, but a portable air con isn't too heavy. Probably not suitable for chairs or anything that…
Merriam Webster says Irregardless is a word. Haters gonna hate. Irregarders gonna Irregard. Prusaslicer etc. should recognise this as a sign and colour it appropriately. Nice.
You need to load all the files at once and say yes to “is this all one model”. Then just set the colours to vaguely what's in the name of the file.
I found this thing walking around in the basement. Weird, I thought. Weren't they extinct, and weren't they sea creatures anyway? Weirder still, we don't have a basement. Best tilted backwards I expect, with supports. They weren't into…
Remember to refer to the “describe” file to see when to change layers. You can definitely substitute filaments but try to get some with similar TD, mainly try to get a white around 7.0 if you can. Most others won't matter so much.
This was originally made for my Sirayatech Roamr video. It works fine with just PLA though, even though it's way better with the foam internals. To print with either, load the shell and shell-lid in together and when asked, yes it's made…
