Small test coins.

I have uploaded 3 categories of coins

  1. Blank = both sides left blank
  2. Single Sided - choice of one side with Circles, Squiggle, Text. 
  3. Double Sided - choice of both sides with Circles, Squiggle, Text. 

Note: These coins are 22mm in diameter and 1mm thick.  All of them will print flat with the circle/squiggle/text being printed in the same layer height as the background.

Why: These coins are useful for testing out print settings, color combinations, bed textures…

 

Tip of the day: How to make text or other graphics print in the same layer as the background?

Simple.  Make the text or graphic recessed by 0.01mm or 0.02mm from the surface.  This difference will show up in the slicer allowing one to add the second color, but because it is such a small difference it will print at the same layer height as the finished surface.
