Quick introduction
Hello!
This is my first upload to Printables.
I like to tinker a lot, not only with my printer, but also with my DIY projects. In order to do that, over the years I've accumulated a couple of tools, and amongst those are a few that I use quite often.
Because of this, I decided to make this simple little support to hold a bunch of them. The size is just rightto keep your average 3D printer hex-key kit upright, along with a couple of small(ish) screwdrivers and other simple tools like scissors and tweezers.
I also like keeping my workspace clean, but I didn't really have a rag holder, so I made one too and glued it to the bottom of the tool holder.
How it works
You'll notice that these models have no holes for screwing onto the table. That's on purpose.
I don't like screwing things to my table and I didn't want to overcomplicate the designs so I made them in a way that I could use double-sided tape (I used one from the brand Scotch). I used a pretty strong version, I think it supports like 800g per 15 cm of tape.
It's been holding these tools for just about a year now with no sign of failing. I made sure to leave plenty of space on the bottom to have a lot of usable area for the tape. I also put tape on the vertical face just in case. For the rag holder, I also used tape, but clearly much less because it doesn't need to hold too much weight.
Final notes
Hope you all enjoy this simple little design!
It ain't much but it's honest work :)
