On my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee when the headlamp burns out the manual had me take the grill and front end off of the automobile to simply change the bulb. It took 3 ½ hours to change a single bulb, which is ridiculous, I've changed a 3 phase generator on a B-52D in that amount of time!
On the back of the lamp housing is a 4" plastic cover that when removed, exposes the lamp connector but it's difficult at best to reach it, let alone have enough torque in your wrist/fingers to remove it.
This is an adapter to use a ¼" ratchet to remove and install the bulb holder/connector. Beware the connector only rotates approximately 15 degrees. I printed this in PETG at 0.20 layer with 2 walls, top, and bottom. I'd rather break this inexpensive tool than the bulb connector.
Anyway, I cut a 3 ½ hour job down to 25 minutes!!
