Minimalist stand simply to get the base of the Macbook elevated and provide some ventilation. This resolved the overheating problem I was having and which caused the CPU to throttle down.
I designed this for a 2019 16" Macbook Pro with Touchbar but should work with other Macbooks as it simply uses the angle of the monitor to prevent it from sliding out (see photo).
To print, rotate the piece 120 degrees around the Y-axis so that the back leg lays flat (see screenshot from my slicer).
Update: This stand can also be used with other laptops, such as a HP Victus. Basically any laptop that has a gap or edge that the stand can grab to prevent it from sliding out the back to the inclination.
WARNING: For Macs especially, do NOT leave the laptop on the stand when opening and closing. The stand wedges itself in the gap between the laptop and the screen hinge and opening and closing the latop without lifting the laptop from the stand may cause damage. Adjusting the angle of the screen once opened seems fine as long that you don't pressure on the laptop.
