I created this modular board for Command and Colors Napoleonics to be able to set the terrain tiles in place.
More often than not during play, the terrain tiles slip over the board. With this board the tiles fit nicely in their separate hexagon and stay put :)
You can use the back of the current board as a base, fits nicely.
The set is composed of:
- 9 Three by Three hexagon pieces
- 3 Left edge pieces
- 3 Right edge pieces
- 5 individual grid units
- 3 Three by One hexagon pieces (two oriented to the left and one oriented to the right)
- 2 sets of flank delimiters (lower and upper) composed each of a left flank, right flank and center pieces.
- 113 plain terrain pieces
- 1 holder for the hexagon grid components
For the plain terrain tiles, I have used eSun Matcha Green PLA. It matches the board colors very well.
I provide in the PDF instructions on how to mount the board.
