Adjustable bipod powered by bungee cords intended to be put onto Nerf blasters.

The legs are adjustable by a clip which interacts with some rungs on the rotating legs, this part is fully functional. There are two orientations you can print these legs in: Base and Side. Printing it on its side will have you secure the bungee cord with a screw. If you print it on its Base, you can do a layer color change, but the bungee cord will have to be stretched and held with a double knot. I printed Base. Neither of these parts need supports, the overhang can be done with a simple bridge.

Rotating leg should be printed flat, no supports. Flat Fot can also be printed flat without supports. PicMount needs supports.

DISCLAIMER: The retaining bungee cords are not currently functioning as intended, so the legs will not stay locked in either position. This is a project I have not been able to come back to, so this issue is NOT FIXED. If you want it for decoration, you can glue the legs into place.

I have included the STEP file for anyone who wishes to brave it.

Want to have a stylish bipod to match your blaster? This may be for you.

Requires

  • 2 bolts and nuts for picatinny (I used 17/32, but whatever metric bolt works on picatinny should work on this one)
  • 6 M3 12mm screws (4 if you print Sliding Leg Base intsead of Side)
  • 4 M3 Nuts (2 if Base instead of Side)
  • Bungee Cord (I used 5mm)

Rotating Leg and Flat Foot need to be mirrored in the slicer to print one for each side.
