Created this because I needed one, lol. Model is a heated air diffuser for the Eibos Cyclopes Dryer. material is tpu 85a Ninjaflex .. DO NOT PRINT WITH PLA (FIRE RISK!).. I have not tested model with 95a tpu, but 85a tpu holds up very well to heated air. print orientation is flat side down, with 100% infill, and your printers normal tpu print settings. No supports needed. I Have not tested, but ABS may be good material for this application as well.
This is not a shield, it is a diffuser. its installation covers the entire air vent and redirects the hot air outward and around case interior, instead of just shielding from heat blast.
The design is a slip in, friction fit design. the angled posts secure into vent, thanks to tpu's naturally grippy nature.
Model printed with a 5 year old moisture-ridden roll of tpu that I decided to resurrect instead of trash because of how much I paid for it. So print quality is what it is, ya know. Now with the diffuser I can safely dry filaments without melting them, and make older rolls useful again!
