External power supplies can make a cable management mess. This is how I resolved this issue for my mini server's power supply, by attaching it to the computer.

My method of attaching was strong double-sided tape. It's important to tape it only to the bottom chassi, to allow the lid to be removed without taking the case out

Should be printed upright, no supports needed

The wire needs to be tightly wound like shown in the picture to fit inside the wire compartment. I'd also recommend taping the wires to make them narrower. Makes it a lot easier to slide the power supply in along with the wires.

It's a tight fit, even a little difficult to remove it afterwards, but not impossible.

If your system draws a lot of power, and/or will be in a high temperature environment, I'd recommend monitoring the power supply's temperature at least in the first few hours of a simulated worst-case-scenario. Just to ensure the extra insulation will not cause the power supply to overheat. Mine stays in a cool ambient temperature drawing an average of 11w. In this scenario it's cool to the touch.
