This is the check socket file to see if your residual limb is a compatible size and shape to work with my device. the model as it is, is for a left hand. if you are needing to build a right hand, mirror the model in your slicing software. print the model at 100% scale at 40% or so infill. the reference blocks should measure 4.00" long 1.5" wide, and 0.75" tall. once it's printed, mash your residual limb into the void space, if it fits, awesome! send me a picture of it to [email protected]. the dimension that we're primarily concerned with is the thickness of your residual limb at the metacarpal end. if it is tight or loose width wise that's ok, there is room for deviation. thickness wise, not so much. if it's super close, and you really really want to build one, send me a picture describing where it's tight.
