This is the base I have made as a replacement for the G502 Lightspeed. I had to replace the switches on my G502 so I took the opportunity to replace the base with a lightened one. The new base weighs in at 7g compared to the original 23.

The base should work as a drop in replacement for the original. I have not made it compatible with logitechs charging base thingy since i think it is stupid. Its the whole Apple magic mouse problem again. Simply remove the power plug from the board and use without.

Ifixit has a great guide for disassembly. Shutout einself.

There is two versions of the base included, one with honeycombs and one without. I have included the fusion files for easy modding for your needs.

The hexagon version is sized at 4mm per hexagon so most skates should fit. The solid area at the top is for a micro-usb to usb-c converter. Just put some glue and plug it in. It works great.

I printed the one in the picture on the Prusa MK4 with Polymaker Pla Polylite Pro and it is holding up well.
