This print fits in a standard tripod shoe, it allows you to stabilize a fly rod blank while turning handles. A cork ring fits in the holder to provide a soft rest for a fly rod blank to turn in a lathe while the cork handle is being shaped. this keeps the blank from getting unstable and whipping around potentially damaging the blank. The pre-drilled hole in the cork ring can be reamed out to fit larger blanks. If the hole of a standard ring is too small to provide adequate support a custom hole can be drilled in a cork plug of appropriate size.

The standard file fits a 1-1/8th inch cork ring. The file tagged fits a 1-¼ inch cork ring.

The files print upright with no support. PLA should be sufficient for this part.
