This is a stand made for Blackwing pencils. Most pencil stands I have tried only work for about a third of the pencil's life. This will work the entire life of the Blackwing pencil. There is a little wiggle room for variances in the eraser insert tabs which may lead to the pencil not being perfectly straight, but you can get the pencil to stand perfectly with little effort.
