I have an adjustable bed where the head and feet can be raised or lowered using remote-controlled actuators. These actuators' arms have screw-in plastic head pieces that connect a bar on the bed to the actuator and allow the bar to pivot as the arm extends or retracts.
During a move to a new house, my bed was improperly disassembled and one of the actuator heads was snapped. I kept it working for a few years with copious amounts of superglue and not adjusting that part of the bed but, eventually, that no longer did the trick. I designed this part to replace the broken molded plastic piece that the bed originally came with.
This was my first-ever 3d model, and I now know that the calipers I used to get the measurements for it were a little broken, which led to some incorrect measurements. This means this part fits a little loosely in the actuator arm, but it holds weight without complaint and has been working in my bed for over a year, giving me full use of the adjustable feet again.
Print in just about anything (I used PLA) with a high infill.
