Latest iteration of a project but I'm not 100% happy with it yet.

However it's functional so I figured I'd publish it.

Some notes:

  1. Extra width of the camera holder probably should cause issues with homing but hasn't proved to be an issue for me.

  2. During full bed prints, it the camera will slam into the bed wiring cover during probing. Again this hasn't actually thrown any errors for me after several prints. YMMV

  3. Currently I use a thin strip of sticky tack to secure the FPC cable (with LED strip) to the printed piece.

** I am not affiliated with KB3D in any way but this is the camera I'm using.

IME the “Enclosure camera” is actually better for nozzle usage. The quality is absurdly good but they're finicky and easy to damage, I'd buy a spare if it's your first time using RPI / ESP32 style cameras.
