Wanted to use Eilander's fantastic bed sheet holder but with a different bolt setup. Decided to quickly create a Blender scene that lets you specify exactly which type of bolt and nut you'd like to use. Simply select the Bolts and Nuts displayed as wireframes in the scene, head over to the modifier tab and have fun tweaking.
Knowledge of basic camera movement and perhaps basic object positioning skills might be helpful, but not necessary for ~90% of users. Advanced users are free to create bolt setups however they like.
Boolean modifiers are NOT APPLIED here yet. PrusaSlicer's are far superior, so I recommed the following workflow:
Hide all undesired options. Select all desired options including wire frame bolts andhit File → Export → .STL . I endorse exporting each “wing” and it's bolts in a separate .STL file for later convenience in PrusaSlicer, though not necessary.
In PrusaSlicer, hit Add and import the .STL files just exported in Blender. Select the imported models and hit “Split to Parts”. Then, select all nuts and bolts in the parts list on the right and change type to “Negative Volume”. This should make sure that the “Wings” drop to the print bed, however double check that please.
If you DO like Blender's boolean modifiers, select all the bolts first and then the “Wing”, then hit Ctrl+NumpadMinus. It should work as well as this is quite the simple scene, however use at your own discretion.
That should do the trick!
Enjoy!
