Problem:
I have two screens of different size. One of the has a not centered VESA mount, so the are not center-center aligned on my 2 arm vesa mount.
Solution:
I made this parametric adapter to offset one monitor to make them center aligned
Dimensions:
For my setup I used a VESA 75 hole pattern with 65mm offset
Holes are M4 through holes 4.5mm diameter, Hexagon insets are meant for M4 nuts
The plate is 85x150x5mm.
BOM:
- 4x M4 nuts
- 4x M4x10 screws
- 4x M4x16 screws (2 should be countersunk, manual post-processing for countersink)
- 8x M4 washers.
Parametric design
I made this design parametric in Fusion360 and OpenSCAD.
So adapters for different VESA standards and offsets can be generated.
Attention:
- Make sure the hex holes are deep enough so your screw nuts are flush to the surface
- Depending on your offset you may need countersunk screws for the top screw into the screen (see image)
If You do not have Fusion or OpenSCAD and need a model with different paramets write a comment. I'll try to upload a fitting model in time.
