This is a simple way to visualize DNA’s ladder model and helix in three dimensions.
Each “rung“ of the ladder is able to be printed without support, and can be twisted on to additional rungs to form a spiral. When done, these rungs simply snap back to their ladder shape and come apart.
Additional base and cap rungs have been added to support the model and make it look smoother (hiding the clips at the top).
