Used the arms and holders of the “small arm system” from @RostaP's awesome Multifunction Arm mounting system. Added a split base so that it can stand on itself and a new holder variant which allows for a ¼"-20 screw to hold the webcam. The base attaches to the “holder-small-nuts-18-18-M4.stl” holder with 16mm M4 screws and nuts.
For the knob for the screw, I used a knob from @natepichler_256753 collection of 1/4-20 and 5/16-18 knobs. (See detail of the knob I used here.)
I used a ¾-in long hex bolt.
In my case, I simply wanted to be able to use webcam so that it is above the laptop screen and below the monitor. If you need it higher, you only have to use more arm segments…
