80mm ⌀ Open-source 3D-printable waterjet for small-scale applications. Designed for use in an electric surfboard, with two units powered by two 3kW brushless motors. Could probably also be used in large RC boats, but doesn't support nozzle steering at current. Bill of Materials included to show items required to complete.
Also on github at github.com/largeostrich/openwaterjet, although I'll try to keep both versions up to date. I have documented the project on my personal website on my personal website at thelargeostrich.com/openwaterjet.
Update: 25/09/18: Added .stl files
Print Settings
Infill:
10%
Filament: any PLA
Notes:
Designed for printing in PLA on a minimum print area of 110 W x 100 D x 110 H (plus whatever you want for skirts/rafts/brims), only the fairings are bigger than this. Intake designed to be printed as two separate pieces and bolted together, but should be possible to do as one piece if your printer can go high enough. Infill of 10% seemed to be about right for stiffness/weight balance. Support material might help overhangs come out prettier, but they were functional without.
Construction
Designed to be bolted together with M5x30 and M5x70 mchine screws, other hardware components listed in bill of materials
