I used this on my minimalist solar build but it can find a home anywhere you need to mount the pantheon of standard 19mm panel mount devices. No supports needed, I use PLA just because it was already in the printer, for greater temp and UV performance use PETG or something else. 3M VHB tape is a GREAT mounting solution, but most acrylic adhesives will work well too.
