My Homey Pro got “hot” for my personal taste, often exceeded 60°C.
With the vent the temperature stabilizes at roughly 54°C.
Its not “the world” but considering CPU temperature and no fan still enough worth the effort.
The vent is preferably be printed in resin but could also work with a well dialed in FDM-printer.
Cutting the Housing of the homey is, of course, required.
Glue the Vent to the housing. My favorite is “UHU-Por” for jobs like that.
Spray painted in black and glossy varnish.
Wife commented… Looks like it belongs to it and it came out of the box like that.
Mission accomplished!
