As the original plastic holders wore out quite quickly I decided to design my own version(s).
Designed with TinkerCad. Printed on my MK4 in white PETG. Check for food-conform filament.
Versions:
- One part only version (#1). Let's see how long it lasts. Maybe after print you need to fine-tune the bore of ø3.5mm. A little food-quality grease (e.g. SAECO for coffe machines) halpt you putting the interdental teeth sticks to fit seamlesslier. Taking out is also improved by grease.
- Two part version (#2), consisting of the holder and a separately printed ring (3 ring versions, decide yourself what is best). The ring holds stress better than the holder in regard to print lines. Also the ring can be fine-tuned better in ø for best fit.
- Two part version (#3) which is same like #2 but only ca. 12mm longer in the neck. Check out what is most comfortable for you.
Happy printing and brushing! SMILE!
