Decorative tissue box cover. I designed this cover, but unfortunately my printers are too small to print the whole model. Thanks to my friend Sunbertyv (click to see his work) for his help, you can print it in 2 parts. Fit standard tissue box similar to 23 length x 11 width x 7 height cm.
The model is optimized for 0.6 mm nozzle for faster print time, but can be printed with 0.4 mm nozzle without issue.
Additional materials
- Superglue (needed to join the parts) - example
Installation (half model - 2x)
- Print 2 times the “cut in half” model
- Clean/sand the model for any imperfection
- Insert the 2 pins in one side of model
- Insert partially the other half
- Apply superglue
- Complete the assembly
- Add superglue inside (if needed - to make the assembly stronger)
- Let it dry (look at the superglue instruction)
Print instructions
- Nozzle: 0.6 mm nozzle (best) or 0.4 mm nozzle
- Material: PLA
- Wall: minimum 3
- Infill: 10% (but not really needed since the walls are small)
- Supports: print upside down, no support
