Viking Long Seax (Saks). This sword was classified as a short sword/ long knife with a heavy tang, designed for chopping and breaking. Mostly made during the Anglo-Saxon age, this was the European version of Egypt's Khopesh knife.

The most interesting feature to point out is the inverse blade top, resembling our modern day kitchen knives. But the most resembling weapon would be your traditional machete, but a thicker spine on the tang.

This design is specifically based on the Long Seax I have.

Printing

Please consider solid infill so it's durable and wont break easily by dropping or, “chopping”.

Include Organic Supports as well.

Assembling

I have made an alternative version that has no handle for you to add your own handle design.

Now, enjoy a piece of Nordic history.
