I designed this to keep frequently-used tools close at hand, while keeping precious bench space free.  The body of the holster is tilted back a bit, and the front opening is flared out, for easier and more comfortable access.

You can mount with the two screw holes, or double-sided tape would probably work too.  One model has a 25mm attachment flange, the other 50mm, the latter for protecting from hot objects or other debris that might fly into the holster.

Yes, this is made out of plastic, which doesn't get along with fire -- this is not for metal tools that have recently been in the flame.  I print it with polycarbonate which is self-extinguishing and supposedly won't create toxic fumes.  You can also cut out an aluminum cup if you want to add more protection or durability at the bottom – a template is included to cut that out.  I use thin sheet aluminum, you might event get away with soda can aluminum, not sure.

Also available here if you can't print polycarbonate or want me to build the metal cup for you: https://hpglassstudio.etsy.com
