When I found this remix of “High Tech Pet - Automatic Dog Door Collar Tag : 1in (25mm) Collar Mount”. I was like, this is just what I'm looking for since the strap mount for the device is what I consider small for our dogs. The designer "ydooWoody" did a great job. With the screws tapping into the plastic it was a little difficult to assemble and disassemble when needing to replace the battery. Which on these units, is often. So I remixed it to add an embedded M3 hex nut in each half. I also made the screw head opening a little larger to accommodate the M3x20 panhead screws I'm using.
I'm using PETG with a 0.20mm layer height. I added a pause at layer 60 to drop in the M3 hex nuts I'm using. I've been happy with the way the end product came out. I hope others find this useful as well.
