If you love rugged designs and products, this model is for you!
Designed to insert into each other, be completely customizable, and print without supports, this model is extremely rugged!
I have included some basic models: 4x3, 3x4, 6x3, 2x2, Small 2x3
Fusion360 is free for personal use and is easy to download. I suggest downloading it even if you do not choose to use my model.
If you do not know how to edit parameters in Fusion360, open this model in Fusion, and click the FX option in the “Modify” Section of Solid Design. All of the changeable designs are listed as “User Parameters”.
Printer Settings:
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Walls: 4
Minimum Infill recommended: 15%
Parametric Settings:
Width (Overall width does not account for overhang): minimum = 30mm (recommended 40)
Depth (Overall width does not account for overhang): minimum = 30mm (recommended 40)
Shell (Overhang/Outside Wall): minimum = 2mm (recommended 4)
Height: Minimum = 16mm (recommended 20)
Section_Width_Number: Maximum = 16 (number of sections width-wise)
Section_Depth_Number: Maximum = 16 (number of sections depth wise)
Section_Spacing: Minimum = 1mm (recommended 2) (Space between sections)
Any Parameter not listed above is meant to simplify the design. I do not recommend changing these unless you have a remix in mind.
Depending on your parameter settings, some errors may occur in Fusion 360 (Too small, or too many sections), but after much testing, these warnings can (Mostly) be ignored.
I have tried to simplify this design as much as possible, but if you would like to edit anything on the timeline, I would love to hear about your changes!
