These wheels are modeled after the South Australia Railways T class narrow gauge locomotive.
They are ugly but necessary.
Standard 30.25mm wheels
Not just copies of injection molded parts, care has been taken to ensure 3D printed parts function correctly. Flanges are slightly thicker to stop de-lamination. Pin and axle sockets work properly. Will require a 30x1 .5mm o-ring for traction.
I print with supports from base plate only and a 1 layer raft helps remove all supports quickly with one snap. The seams are scarf joined to help with roundness but still may need a small touch of a needle file
Post printing will require a 3/16" (4.8mm) drill though the pin socket. Axle socket will be tight and I kinda tap an axle through (back and forth) with a small hammer but afterwards should be usable and firm.
