A small tool to remove the AAAA-Battery of a Surface pen. If the pen has any dents or the battery inflated a bit this might help.
Compatible pens
It fits surface V4 pens which are the standard pen for:
- Surface Pro 3 to 7+
- Surface Book 1 to 3
- Surface Studio 1 to 2+
- Surface Laptop 1 to 5
- Surface Go 1to Surface Go 4 for Business
Usage
Pull the back of the pen out of the pen and put the printed tool over the battery compartment. Slam the pen onto a table. You might put some paper in between to prevent scratches or dents to the table. After a few slams the battery should get loose.
Tip
If you use a rechargeable battery, the printed information might be on a thin film warped around the battery. Try to remove the film, it will reduce the diameter of the battery.
