I Made this to hang my curtain, which was falling and the extendable rod no longer worked. I used a dowel that was lying around my house to solve the problem.

This is a practical print. I used ABS with 100% infill since the window receives a lot of sun all year, and my dog's bed is just underneath that window and I don't want the curtain falling on her head.

5/8 "dowel (15.875 mm) and give a little more tolerance I designed it with an 18 mm gap so it will work with different rods and tubes as well. In case you have a different tube/rod I also included the Fusion 360 file.

I hope it will be useful for someone else as well. Can use double side tape, hot glue, or any wood screw with a chamfered head.

Print 2 copies of it. Mark the right location and screw it, leave the slot facing up, and tighten the screw. Cut the dowel a little smaller than the gap of your window reminding that the thickness of the hanger is 3 mm.

Window gap - 6 mm - tolerance ( around 2 mm) = length of the dowel.

Remember, measure twice and cut once.

Enjoy!

And BTW my wife hates the yellow too !!! (I'll have to buy a roll of white ABS).
