This replaces a backplate, so an airtag can be inserted and stealthily hidden.
I used Ruthex heat set inserts for the screws, and used hot glue to cover the exposed airtag/wires to prevent rubbing on the elastic strap.
I've used it for about a month now, and it works quite well. I would recommend a smooth plate over a textured plate for the underside, to prevent rubbing against the cards in the wallet
