As part of a school project showcasing alternative power sources, this is a small, simple hand-cranked dynamo, capable to light up some LEDs, or something bigger, if you connect all the phases.
A rectifier diode bridge (made with four 1N4007 diodes) and a 6.8K Ohm resistor are required to be connected between the 28BYJ-48 and the LEDs (or any other load) for this to work. There's plenty of diagrams available on the internet, for example: https://madpcb.com/glossary/rectifier/
Also, some 20 mm-long screws are required to secure the dynamo in place. The holes are 6 mm in diameter.
