The mains powered Depstech Rotary Tool, model DM-200A, is quite heavy and this clamp can be used to hold it firm, whilst using the tool to work on an object. It may also be suitable for other makes and models of rotary tools.
The two pieces of the design were printed with 25% infill to give some strength but still allow a little flexibility in the clamps. The pieces were then screwed, the appropriate distance apart, to a wooden platform . The platform can then be G clamped to a work bench.
The design requires 1xM5 nut and bolt 50mm, 1xM5 nut and bolt 40mm and appropriate screws for the wooden mount.
