Life size, anatomically accurate human hyoid bone that I segmented from a computed tomography scan. In this individual, the greater and lesser horns were fused so the hyoid could be printed in one piece.

FDM Printing:
I sliced this in Orca with a 0.2 mm nozzle and printed with the inferior surface sitting on the plate with 0.06 mm layers, 4 walls, 15% infill, grid supports with a solid interface, 1 mm apart and a raft. Matte PLA makes support removal much easier.
