This clamp was made with ergonomic keyboarding in mind. The intent was to provide a way to move a SmallRig arm into any desired position. The Larger heatset inserts are inserted into the Shuttles where the it will ride in a track on the inside face of the clamp. The smaller heatset inserts are for the cap.

The idea is that the Smallrig mounts are started on the Shuttles but a gap is left to slide them into the channels. The cap is then added to close off the channels and ensure that the shuttles don't get lost in transit. Move the shuttle into place and then tighten down the Smallrig mounts to clamp the arms in place. Note: The walls are only 2mm thick, so there will be some flex if enough force is applied but this has not been an issue during typing/normal use for me.

Clamp model has a clearance of 33mm. Bolt has a length of 66mm. The combination fits a 1inch desk well. Additional models could be added if there is interest.

Note: there WILL be some play in the arms if you press on them once they're
