Cookie Cutter Generator using OpenSCAD
How to use your own design:
- Create a new SVG file in Inkscape.
- Draw out paths for the features on their respective layers. An example on how this is done can be found in the attached
Pig.svg - Open the
CookieCutter.openscadwith the development snapshot of OpenSCAD. The release version might not work properly since it does not support all the features used. - Change the path to the .svg file in
CookieCutter.openscad:svg = "mydesign.svg" - Render and export the model to your preferred format. STL or 3MF works well.
Tips for printing:
- Print on the lower range of temperature for your filament to reduce stringing.
- Set your extrusion multiplier slightly higher than normal to improve bridge connections
- I printed the example in PLA with 190℃ and a 105% extrusion multiplier
