I received an RFID sticker from my office for parking but I didn't want to stick it on my car, and would rather carry it with me. This design lets me stick it to a piece of paper, slot it directly in, and carry it with my keycard.
The slot is at the top and has no trouble holding and keeping a small piece of paper in place.
I printed it upright to maintain the clearance for the tag slot with no issue.
