This handy travel soapbox transforms into a nice soap dispenser and back again.
The tray is positioned very low in the box when using it as a travel soapbox, but when opened can be positioned higher for presentation of the soap bar for use.
The tray only needs to be rotated 180° to change from high (for presentation/use) to low (for fitting the soap into the box for travel).
The box was designed to accommodate larger “craft” soap bars measuring up to 85mm x 65mm x 25mm.
NOTE: The lid has a lip to hold it together. Some light force is required to open it. This was designed for and printed on an MK4 and the hold is firm, but it is also reasonably easy to open. If your printed has a different tolerance, you may find a different fit. YMMV.
The pictured printed model shows “Soap” written on the front using the PrusaSlicer text tool. In this case, using the Didot typeface leaving a void 0.5mm deep in the lid. The filament used is BBLife White Pearl Silk. I recommend silk filament for any soap box due to its very smooth, pore-less surface.
