I created a custom expansion memory card adapter for the MacBook Pro, designed to integrate additional storage up to 2 TB. This project involves soldering a microSD card to PCB that fits into the MacBook Pro's SDXC expansion slot. Once the soldering is complete, the PCB and microSD card are enclosed in a 3D-printed shell, providing upgrade to your laptop's storage capacity.
If you'd like to make this adapter yourself, you can download the attached Gerber files for the PCB. These files can be sent to any PCB manufacturer—just ensure the board thickness is set to 0.2mm. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can contact me directly, and I’ll be happy to send you a pre-made PCB free of charge.
