This toolhead is designed to be lightweight and give plenty visibility of what's beeing printed. Utilizes stock parts apart from a few screws and some metal inserts.
The frame with the extruder gear must be printed with tough material and good dimensional accuracy. I'm using PA6CF for some good print hours and so far didnt notice any drop in performance. I'd also recommend CPE for that part.
Cooling duct must be printed of heat resistant material for the proximity with hotend.
The assembly is quite simple, the trickiest part beeing the metal inserts in the frame.
Consider this a WIP. Soon I will be adding more info on print settings and assembly. Some improvements might also come along the way.
