Airbnb Keytag

A multi-part model of an Airbnb keytag to be printed with a MMU.

How to create a similar model (optional)

• Download or create a SVG file of a logo for example.
• Import the SVG in your modeler and extrude the indivual sections or islands to new or separate objects.
• Create a hole for a ring.
• Create fillets or chamfers to your liking.

For this model there should be 3 individual objects without any gaps.

Prusaslicer

Prepare the model

Load the model or a similar one and split to parts:

• Right Click on the object and select Split -> To Parts.

You will get a list of 3 parts. A part can be identified by clicking on it in the parts tree.

Extruders setup

Assign color to the extruders (optional)

In the Printers tab select:

• Extruder 1 and set the Extruder Color: Red.
• Extruder 2 and set the Extruder Color: White.
• Extruder 3,4,5 are not used for this print.

Assign extruder to parts

Assign Extruder numbers to each part as shown in the Prusaslicer pictures.

• Right click on the Extruder column for each part in the parts tree and change to the required extruder number.

Remarks

• Make sure to load the spools in the respective order of the extruders e.g. Red and White (or Transparent like I used).

Printing

• Fill density & pattern: not relevant because of the height.
• Top fill pattern: Archimedean Chords.
• Bottom fill pattern: Archimedean Chords.
