Use 2mm Box nails or roll pins for the pivot points. May need to be chased with a drill bit to enlarge the holes. Print with supports. I printed mine out of PLA and it's been holding up so far. 3-4 walls with 40% infill is what I used on mine.

I use ski style boot straps to connect the ends now instead of the 3d printed buckle.
