Designer George Nelson was commissioned by Herman Miller in the 40s to design a line of clocks. This is a faithful recreation of the Astrix Clock designed in 1950. A classic midcentury modern design retweeked for the post modern world.
I have used several different generic clock work kits that have all worked well.
I would not recommend resizing the clock ask the holes will no longer fit the clockwork. If people are interested in a smaller version for other printers leave a comment and I can upload reworked models.
