This modification reinforces not only the Z-axis against the right aluminum profile but also against the entire frame. A reinforcement limited to a single profile does not prevent it from still rotating within the front and back plates.

The base plate is available as a DXF file for production on a CNC milling machine. The 3MF file can, of course, be printed to have a physical model in hand. However, for the actual assembly, I do not recommend this, as the required rigidity cannot be achieved in this way.

The AngleV3 has two grooves milled into the back: one to accommodate the slight protrusion of the original Prusa aluminum plate and a short groove to provide space for the screw head of the Z-extrusion.

If you plan to undertake this modification, I recommend loading the Prusa Mini Assembly V15 into Fusion 360 and studying it carefully. This should answer most common questions.

For a clean routing of the display ribbon cable, a longer one than the original is required. I crimped it myself since it is not available in the correct length. The file "Kabelhalter.3mf" is designed to secure and hide this cable above the base plate.

Happy printing!
