Whilst the original product worked and looked OK, it was awkward flat on the desk, so the design started as an angled mount, but then changed into a complete skin for the unit.

At under £10 at the time of purchase the 4 key macropad https://amzn.to/3Pu3MkB made more sense than the 2 key variants, although all I wanted really was a single key Mute for Teams.

The keycaps are from https://www.printables.com/@HarryJackson_508196 specifically these https://www.printables.com/model/357466-gateron-low-profile-keycap-1u so thanks for that Harry.

If you just want an angled base which raises the keys up to just above keyboard height, then just print the pod, if you want the full re-skin (which is just a press fit of the macropad into the base and the top clips over, and change the keys, no disassembly required), then print pod, top and Harry's keys. The fit of the macropad is designed to be tight, to both halves, but assemble square and it'll go in.

The key tops end up flush with the top surface.

Optionally, use a 90 degree USB-C adaptor so the cable exits to the left/right, rather than straight out the back. Something like https://amzn.to/49PECG9 works well. Keeps the install tidier on the desk. I guess even better if your keyboard has a USB hub inbuilt then a shorter cable straight in that would be nice.

There's positions for the little rubber feet which are included with the macropad, so it's a bit less slidy around the desk too.

I've printed in Tecbears PETG Transparent https://amzn.to/4gxnEza as its great value and being transparent lets the inbuild LEDs shine through, although personally I program them to be off.

Print the pod with the bottom on the print bed, the top prints with the key surface on the print bed. Keycaps, again face down with the keycap surface on the print bed.
